A flat 30 percent contingent-fee cap is the earlier national line, not the 2021 opinion.
Pages that stop at 30 percent of the agreed amount are describing an older rule. The 2021 opinion, 司发通〔2021〕87号, uses slices: 18, 15, 12, 9, then 6 percent.
Lexfee does not reprint the 30 percent figure as the current national maximum. If a firm quotes it, ask which document they are using.
