Line up the stage, then the yuan

Two Chinese lawyer quotes are comparable only when they name the same stage and the same expenses.

A first-instance fee and a fee for the whole case are not the same product. Write down the stage, whether appeal is included, and which third-party fees are excluded.

Then compare the yuan. A lower number that excludes travel, translation, and the court fee can be the more expensive engagement once those bills arrive.
